Matthew Smith

Biography

 Matt serves as Chief Commercial Officer at SynteractHCR and is responsible for global sales operations, business development, proposals and contracting at SynteractHCR. Prior to this role, Matt served as Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Operations and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Synteract. He has more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership, clinical trial management, business development, proposal development and contracts administration within the contract research industry.Prior to Synteract, Matt was CEO and Chief Business Officer of Clinimetrics, a full-service public contract research organization (CRO). Previously, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Quintiles in the area of Phase I-IV clinical trial operations, project management, and business development. Matt brings to SynteractHCR a passion for developing high quality partnerships through strong client communication and solid internal business management and structure.Matt received his Master in Business Administration from University of Colorado and his Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Santa Barbara.
