Biography
Mark L Williams is SABIC’s Vice President Europe since April 2015 . Mark graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in 1989 and has a career spanning of 27 years in the Petrochemicals and Polymers industry working across Europe, USA and the Middle East. Mark has extensive manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility for the operation of Petrochemical and Cracker complexes across Europe and in Texas. Previously Mark was responsible for SABIC’s Manufacturing and Strategic planning in Europe. The focus of his current role is creating a sustainable and competitive environment for the European Petrochemicals Industry and the development of talent to achieve this. Mark is chairman of the VNCI and serves on the boards of the CIA, CEFIC and Plastics Europe. He is graduate of the London Business School’s General Management Development Program and was previously on the board of the UK National Skills Academy for the Process Industry (NSAPI).
