Biography
In 2008, Roman Karlubik was appointed director and CEO of Chemox Holding. Since 2004 he is President of the Slovak Association of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry as well as Vice president of the Federation of Employer´s Association of the Slovak Republic. Since 2012 he also occupies the position of Vice President of Economic and Social Council of the Government of Slovak Republic. He is a chemical engineer and obtained his executive MBA in 2000 from California State University. He works in the chemical industry since 1983 and started his career in Petrimex a.s as a commercial manager. From 1989 to 1996 he represented the Czechoslovak chemical inndustry and trade in Japan and China. Between 1996-2008, he occupied several positions in Agrofert Holding, as the company Vice-President and as general manager of Precolor a.s., Duslo a.s., .Chairman of the Board of Directors of Precheza a.s., Istrochem a.s., Ostacolor a.s., Duslo a.s., Agrofert Norden a.s. and Agrofert Pigment (China) a.s.
