Biography
Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases physician, with more than 15 years of clinical practice. I joined the Pharmaceutical industry in 2012 and I have been working at different levels and functional areas, initially as Regional Medical Affairs Lead for Infectious Diseases for Latin America. In 2015 I was selected for participate in an International Development Program focused in Market Access in Belgium, within the Global Commercial Strategic Organization for Respiratory Infections and Hepatitis B. After this global assignment and back to the region, I worked as Medical Affairs Regional Director Oncology. Currently She is a part of the R&D team as Clinical Leader for Infectious Diseases in Global Public Health, She is responsible for different HIV and Neglected Tropical Diseases projects.
Research Interest
Able to balance the business needs and the medical gaps in order to develop new strategies and approaches, aligned with other functional areas (commercial and market access teams). As Internal Medicine specialist, I have the background for leading projects not only in Infectious Diseases but also in other therapeutic areas, as I have successfully done for Metabolism and Oncology at regional level.
