Biography

Dr. Hilde Eylenbosch, M.D., serves as Chief Commercial Officer of Biocartis NV. Dr. Eylenbosch has been Chief Commercial Officer of Biocartis Group NV since November 17, 2016. Dr. Eylenbosch served as the President of Europe and Middle East at Alere Inc. (formerly, Inverness Medical Innovations Inc.), since February 2012. Dr. Eylenbosch served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Alere Inc. since November 2010. Dr. Eylenbosch served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Alere Inc. from July 2010 to November 2010 and served as its Vice President of Marketing since April 1, 2009 until July 2010. Dr. Eylenbosch served as Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Precision Diagnostics at Alere Inc. since May 2007 and served as the President of Worldwide Consumer Diagnostics since June 2006. Dr. Eylenbosch served as Vice President of Consumer Diagnostics at Alere Inc. since July 2005 until June 2006. She served as Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Alere Inc. since October 2004 until July 2005. Prior to assuming that title, she served as Vice President of International Women's Health of Alere Inc. from November 2001 to October 2004. Dr. Eylenbosch served in the same capacity for Alere Inc., predecessor company, Inverness Medical Technology, from August 2001 until that company was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in November 2001. Prior to that, she held various positions at Inverness Medical Technology, including Director of U.S. Women's Health from September 1998 to October 2000. When she joined Inverness Medical Technology in January 1995, Dr. Eylenbosch was responsible for marketing that company's women's health products in Europe. Before joining Inverness Medical Technology, Dr. Eylenbosch was employed by Synthelabo, a French pharmaceutical company, where she held various marketing positions. Dr. Eylenbosch is a Senior Business Executive with over 25 years of experience in marketing, product innovation, cross functional businesses and organisational leadership in the life sciences industry. She has been Director of Biocartis Group NV since May 13, 2016. She serves as Director of Biocartis NV. She holds a degree as Medical Doctor from University of Ghent, Belgium and successfully completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
