Biography
Shaoping Lu is currently a post-doc researcher at VUB, working with Prof. Adrian Munteanu. He obtained his PhD degree in 2012 from Tsinghua University under the supervision of Prof. Shi-Min Hu. From 2006 to 2008, he spent two years on H.264 High Performance SOC design at a startup company in Shanghai, China. More earlier, he received his bachelor and master degrees from East China University of Science and Technology. His primary research areas are image/video processing and editing, with particular interests in multi-view video rendering, representation and coding.
