Sara holds a M.A. in Development Economics and International Cooperation obtained from the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ and a PhD in Economics, jointly got in 2011 from UCLouvain and the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’. She has written her thesis, entitled Four Empirical Essays on International Migration under the supervision of Prof. Frederic Docquier and Prof. Leonardo Becchetti. After the completion of her PhD, Sara has been awarded a post-doc scholarship by the FNRS (Fund for Scientific Research), which has allowed her to carry out her research at IRES, UCLouvain.
