Foster

Biography

Mr. Foster is Univar’s Chief Information Officer. He joined the company in 2016 with more than 20 years of information technology experience, including leading efforts to accelerate the adoption of cloud computing, mobile applications and digital platforms to enable growth and create competitive advantage. Previously, Mr. Foster served as Senior Vice President and Chief information Officer of Baxalta Inc., the $6 billion global biopharmaceutical spin off from Baxter International. Mr. Foster held a number of executive-level IT roles with Baxter International Inc. and GE Capital/Heller Financial and also served as Chief Technology Officer for Publicis Groupe. He started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he delivered advanced technology solutions to clients across an array of industries. Mr. Foster received a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Illinois.
