Biography
Julie De Loeul graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in human and social sciences and in 2016 a master's degree in political science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. After an internship at the Belgian Consulate General's political affairs in Jerusalem, Julie is currently completing a PhD in Political and Social Sciences under the leadership of Jihane Sfeir on Israeli supervision and control of the Palestinians in East Jerusalem.
Research Interest
Wars and conflicts in the Middle East, colonial and postcolonial studies, contemporary Middle East history, studies on surveillance.
