Biography
Olivier Bruyère, Ph.D., is currently Professor in the Department of Public Health, Epidemiology and Health Economics of the University of Liège in Belgium. Professor Bruyère is member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Society on Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO) and of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) as well as member of the Group for the Respect of Ethics and Excellence in Sciences (GREES). He also works as expert for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and for the French Food Safety Agency (ANSES). His main field of interest is pharmaco-epidemiology related to geriatric or rheumatic conditions. Besides being Editor-in-chief of the journal “Archives of Public Health”, he is Associate Editor of the journal “BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders” as well as on the editorial board of various journals. He is the authors of more than 100 international scientific publications and book chapters.
