Biography
Mr. Steve Swinson, PhD served as an International Vice President for Spine & Biologics. Prior to joining Vexim's board, Mr. Swinson was responsible for leading the Spine & Biologics business for Western Europe and Canada at Medtronic. Previously at Medtronic, he served as Vice President of Emerging Markets responsible for P&L and operating margins for all Medtronic product lines, covering a wide geography from South Asia including India, Africa, Middle East and Latin America. He has over 30 years’ experience in international business. He managed the indirect channel of distributors for Hewlett Packard Medical Products Group in Europe and served as Vice President of Marquette Medical Systems for Asia Pacific. He also managed the Diagnostic X-ray business on global basis for GE Medical Systems in 2002. He has been the Chairman and Director of Vexim SA since November 2015. He has been Independent Director at Bone Therapeutics SA since June 9, 2017. Mr. Swinson holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Manchester University in the United Kingdom and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
