Biography
Dr. Zasadzinski completed his undergraduate training at the University of Notre Dame majoring in chemistry and philosophy. He attended the New Jersey Medical School (now Rutgers) before completing his medical training through the UT Southwestern Internal Medicine Residency Program. From early in his career, Dr. Zasadzinski has been particularly interested in outreach to indigent and underinsured populations, and improving care for the underserved. He worked throughout medical school at a student-run free family health clinic in Newark, New Jersey, and balanced his medical studies with employment in the UMDNJ Department of Preventive Medicine and Essex County Cancer Coalition. Originally born in Carrollton, he returned to the DFW Metroplex to complete his training and is thrilled to be staying on as a full-time faculty hospitalist at Parkland Hospital.
