She/he is fellowship trained to handle complicated and recurrent kidney stones using a full range of options. By identifying patients’ risk factors, she works to alter them through dietary changes and, at times, medication. “Our goal is to stop existing stones from growing larger and prevent new stones from forming,” she says. He/she also offers a full spectrum of minimally invasive surgical procedures to remove stones from the kidneys, ureter, and bladder including shock wave lithotripsy, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy. She also offers endoscopic surgical options for the management and treatment of urinary tract obstruction.
