Biography
Luiz Dantas is export financing director for AG Construction in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering by UFRJ, Dantas worked at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) before joining the Andrade Gutierrez Group in 2013 in the Institutional Relations sector. His area is responsible for structuring credit operations extended by the Brazilian government to enable projects abroad, in addition to defining strategic policies to interact with the government in the area of foreign trade. It also responds for managing the loan agreements signed with the Brazilian government during the entire disbursement phase. Among his area’s main recent achievements, Dantas points to approving loans to build Moamba Major Dam in Mozambique, the Oriental Highway Corridor in Ghana and the Montegrande Dam Multiple Project in the Dominican Republic, in addition to the National Steel Mill and the Astialba Shipyard in Venezuela.
