Faria Renato

Biography

Renato Faria is investment vice president of AG S.A., investment director of AG Investiments and member of the AG Engineering and Construction Board. With a degree in Mining Engineering from UFMG, he interned at Andrade Gutierrez Mining and worked at companies like Mineração Boquira and Mineração Morro Velho before returning to the Group in 1991 as project manager. Since 2002 Faria has served as financial director and investor relations director at AG Concessions. His area is responsible for developing and securing infrastructure investments, and participates in managing the assets involved. Renato Faria currently responds for investments in sanitation (an area in which AG invests through Sanepar), technology (where AG has a stake in Oi, Contax and Veotex) and health (Logimed and Hospital Novo Metropolitano). His area's most recent achievements are the corporate restructuring of Oi and Contax, and deploying Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Hospital's public private partnership.
