Biography
João José Pavel is vice president of business development and works in strategic projects of the Andrade Gutierrez Group across the world. With a degree in Economics by IBMEC, Pavel began his career at the Andrade Gutierrez Group, where he worked for three years in AG Investments. He was financial project manager at Light S.A. from 2006—when the Group acquired a stake in the company—until 2008, when he returned to AG Investments. Pavel was also an alternate member of the Board of Directors of the telecom companies Tele Norte Leste Participações S.A., Telemar Norte Leste S.A., Tele Norte Celular Participações S.A. and Brasil Telecom S.A. His area's main attributions are assessing new business opportunities that may add value to Andrade Gutierrez, and working in harmony with the company's other areas to leverage the Group's assets and skills.
