Biography
João Martins is global president of AG Structured Business. With a graduate degree in Business Administration, Martins was director superintendent of the OAS Group and vice president of investments and participations of the Serveng Group before joining Andrade Gutierrez in 2011 as director of AG Structures Projects. The unit analyzes, develops, contracts and manages structured infrastructure projects like public private partnerships, concessions, BOTs (Build-Operate-Transfer) and BLTs (Build-Lease-and-Transfer). It is also responsible for structuring financings for AG Construction customers. Especially in developing countries, where it facilitates the signature of contracts with AG. The unit's main recent achievements include a scope expansion that led to new responsibilities, and PPP contracts for the Olympic Park and Sao Lourenço.
