Biography
Marcelo Caldas is commercial superintendent at AG Energy. With a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC, he began his career as an engineering intern at Andrade Gutierrez. He served as project engineer, engineering manager, commercial manager for energy, and is currently commercial superintendent for hydropower plants in Brazil. Caldas is currently responsible for developing hydropower projects in partnership with investors and for commercial monitoring during their deployment. Among his area's major recent achievements he highlights the contract for the Belo Monte Hydropower Plant works and the contract to expand Santo Antonio Hydropower Plant.
