Biography
Paulo Guedes is investment vice president of AG S.A., investment director of AG Investments and member of the AG Engineering and Construction Board. With a degree in Civil Engineering from UFGRS and a Business MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral/Kellog, Guedes was operational superintendent at Construtora Sultepa before joining Andrade Gutierrez in 1993 as project manager. Guedes is responsible for developing and securing infrastructure investments, and participates in managing the assets involved. He currently responds for the Group's investments in transportation, logistics, energy, arenas, ports and airports. His area's most recent achievements are the acquisition of Cemig, the growth of CCR—one of the world's largest concession groups— and the inauguration of the new Beira Rio stadium, one of the various World Cup arenas that will be managed by AG.
