Biography
Victor Zegarra is financial manager at AG Engineering and Construction. Zegarra holds a degree in Economics by the University of Piura (Peru) and an MBA in Strategic Planning by the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences. He served as chief of administration and finance at Latincero Peru and SIAF project coordinator at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru before joining AG in 2007 as an economist. In 2012 Zegarra became the head of AG Construction's Global Treasury at the Financial Management Office (CONSAG). His area is responsible for ensuring that CONSAG's financial resources are well managed across the world, optimizing fund raising and investments in Latin America, Europe and Africa. Among its main recent achievements, he points to reducing AG's unavailable resources across the world by 60% in countries like Argentina, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and Venezuela, in addition to structuring and deploying the new governance model’s financial area across the business units through CONSAG's cash and debt unit.
