Biography
Renato Faria is Vice President of Investments of AG SA, director of Investments of AG Investimentos and member of the Board of AG Engineering and Construction. Graduated in Mining Engineering from UFMG, he was a trainee at Andrade Gutierrez Mineração and went through companies like Mineração Boquira and Mineração Morro Velho before returning to the Group in 1991 as project manager. Since 2002 he has also been financial director and director of Investor Relations at AG Concessões. His area is responsible for developing, conquering and participating in the management of assets that involve investments in the infrastructure segment. Renato Faria is currently responsible for investments in Sanitation (in which AG invests through Sanepar), Technology (a sector in which AG has a stake in Oi, Contax and Veotex) and Saúde (with Logimed and Novo Metropolitano Hospital). Among the recent highlights in his area are the corporate restructurings in Oi and Contax and the implementation of the Public-Private Partner of the Hospital Metropolitano de Belo Horizonte.
