Biography
Mr. Manoel Lucena dos Santos serves as the Chief Risk and Control Officer, and a Member of the Executive Board of Banco do Nordeste do Brasil SA since June 20, 2012. Between 1977 and 1998, he held a post at Banco do Brasil. From 1998 and 2007, he acted as Federal Public Officer-Tax Auditor at Previdencia Social and as Tax Auditor at Receita Federal do Brasil as from 2007. He held a number of posts at Banco do Brasil including: Supervisors' Assistant between 1981 and 1988 at Agencia em Maranguape-CE; Expedient Manager from 1988 to 1991 at Agencia em Santo Antonio-RN; Superintendent Assessor at Superintendencia do Banco do Brasil no Ceara from 1991 to 1993; Team Coordinator at Superintendencia do Banco do Brasil no Ceara from 1993 to 1995; Deputy Head of Business from 1995 to 1998 at Superintendencia do Banco do Brasil no Ceara. Moreover, he held a number of public functions including: Fiscal Team Supervisor between 1999 and 2000 at INSS Fortaleza-CE; Tax Head at INSS Fortaleza-CE from 2000 to 2004; and Delegate of the Social Security between 2004 and 2005, among others.
