Biography

Mr. Boris Alfredo Buvinic Guerovich serves as the President at Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. Mr. Buvinic Guerovich served as a General Manager at Itaú CorpBanca. Mr. Buvinic Guerovich served as Country Manager of Banco Itaú Chile from 2006 to 2016 and BankBoston Chile from 2003 to 2006. Since 1990 he has had a leading role in launching the business of retail banking in Chile, mainly through Banco Santiago which is now Santander Chile, where he worked for 11 years, finally serving as Director of Marketing and Sales. He participated as a member of the board of the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Chile (Asociación de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras de Chile). Mr. Buvinic Guerovich holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile. He participated in the program for CEO training at the Kellogg School of Management.
