Biography

Mr. Ricardo Knoepfelmacher serves as a Partner at RK Partners, Investment Arm. He serves as Chief Executive Officer at Bertin Energia e Participações SA. Mr. Knoepfelmacher is the founder and Managing Partner of RK Partners. Mr. Knoepfelmacher was Partner of Angra Partners Gestão De Recursos S.A. He was Chief Executive Officer of Oi S.A. since September 30, 2005. He was Chief Executive Officer at Brasil Telecom Participações S.A. since September 26, 2006 until January 2009 and its President until January 2009. He also served as Executive Director of Brasil Telecom Participações S.A. Prior to founding RK Partners, Mr. Knoepfelmacher led several corporate restructurings, which included Brasil Ferrovias S.A. (railway operator in Brazil), EBX Group (OGX, OSX and MMX), PDG, UTC, Rossi Residencial, Bombril, Galv o Engenharia, Paranapanema, Usina Caet and Property Brasil, among others. Mr. Knoepfelmacher was the Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Telecom S.A. from 2000 to 2002 and Chief Executive Officer of Bicicletas Caloi from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Knoepfelmacher also worked at Citibank and McKinsey & Company before launching his own company, MGDK & Associados, a restructuring and consulting firm later sold to the Monitor Group, now owned by Deloitte. He serves as a Director of Iguá Saneamento S.A. He has been a Director of Netshoes (Cayman) Limited since April 11, 2017. He has been Independent Director of NII Holdings, Inc. since May 22, 2013. He served as a Director of Vicunha T xtil S.A. since 2013. Mr. Knoepfelmacher holds a master's degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor degree in economics from Universidade de Brasilia.
