Biography
Dr. Claus-H. Wiegel serves as Chief Executive Officer of BSN Medical, Inc. and BSN medical, Ltd. Dr. Wiegel has been President of Beiersdorf-Jobst Inc. based in Charlotte, USA. since 1998. He served as Chief Executive Officer of BSN Medical GmbH. He served as Global Commercial Director Europe ROW of BSN Medical GmbH (alternatively BSN Medical GmbH & Co. KG) since 2006. He served as President of Woundcare Business Unit of BSN Medical GmbH. He joined Beiersdorf in 1982 with responsibility for establishing a new business with reflective sheetings and PVC-foils for traffic signs. He then spent three years at McKinsey and Comp. Inc. before moving back to Beiersdorf in 1989 as Director, Business Development medical international. He served as Corporate Vice President of Business Development at Beiersdorf's Orthopaedics/Phlebology since 1992 and also served as its Corporate Vice President since 1995. Dr. Wiegel was responsible for the GBU Wound Care and the regions of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He serves as Director of BSN Medical GmbH.
