Biography
Mr. Edward S. Macias has been Director at 2U, Inc. since November 04, 2014. Mr. Macias serves as Trustee at Colgate University. He was chief academic officer at Washington University for 25 years. He was provost of Arts & Sciences from 1988 to June 2013 and executive vice chancellor from 1995 to June 2013. Following his tenure as provost, he was tapped by Washington University Chancellor Mark Wrighton to lead the school's effort to explore its approach to online education and to leverage advances in education technology to enhance its reach and impact.
