Biography
He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, an emphasis in electronics, from the University of São Paulo (1987), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1994) and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2001). He is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. From March 2006 to April 2010, he was Executive Secretary of the Internal Technical Committee of Embrapa Instrument. From April 2010 to March 2015 he held the position of Deputy Head of R & D at Embrapa Instrumentação. Has experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on process automation, mainly works in the following subjects: Agricultural Instrumentation; development of instruments and software based on nuclear techniques applied to Soil Physics and plants (tomographs and particle size analyzers); development of software and automation of sensors of agricultural interest.
