Biography
Roberto Milani, who is the co-founder of the Brazil-China Enterprising Council, built a solid 30-year career in one of the largest Brazilian trading companies, the Comexport Group. He started his career at the age of 20, as a trainee, and continued working in virtually every department of the company, of which he is currently the Vice-President, as well as shareholder and the main commercial executive. He designed and developed supply systems of raw materials and semi-finished products for Brazilian industries, in various countries and varied fields. He keeps active commercial relationship with industries established in all five continents, and strong strategic partnerships in countries as diverse as China, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, Indonesia, Malasya, Paskistan, Angola and Cuba, among others. He developed and established offices in China, South Korea, Taiwan and Angola. He has conducted businesses in China since the beginning of the 80’s and was one of the first Brazilians to participate in import / export transactions in such country, where the Comexport group keeps two offices. He has founded the first Chinese-Brazilian trading company, where an expressive group of Brazilian and Chinese professionals are employed. He has graduated as a business administrador from the Brazilian University Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and has obtained his masters degree in Marketing in the United States.
