Biography
Graduated in Electric Engineering at Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Minas Gerais, in 1978; post-graduated in Economic Engineering at Fundação Dom Cabral, concluded in 1980, and in Thermal Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in 1994. He was engineer and division chief at the Water and Power Department of Minas Gerais (1978-1985). At Cemig, since DAE-MG was taken over, he succeeded as manager at the Power Development Department, commercial manager along with corporate clients, client commercial superintendent and prompted client commercial superintendent; he was one of the individuals accountable for CEMIG consolidation in the prompted power market leadership for medium voltage customers. From 2013 through 2016, he was partner manager at Ponta Energia Consultores Associados Ltda.
