Yingxin Gao

Biography

Mr. Yingxin Gao has been an Executive Vice President of Bank of China Limited since May 6, 2015. Mr. Gao served as a Vice President of Bank of China Limited from March 11, 2015 to May 6, 2015. He served as a Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd., a subsidiary of BOC Hong Kong Holdings from January 01, 2005 to March 11, 2015. Mr. Gao served as Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Corporate Banking at BOC Hong Kong Holdings Ltd. from January 2005 to March 11, 2015. He joined BOC Hong Kong Group in February 2005 and serves as the Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions, Product Management, Global Markets and China Business. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of BOC International Holdings Ltd. in Hong Kong from July 2004 to February 2005. He joined BOC Group in 1986, where he began working on financing projects for various industries at its Head Office in Beijing. Since 1999, Mr. Gao served as a General Manager of Corporate Banking at BOC Head Office, where he was responsible for managing and building its customer relationships with and global financing for multinational corporations and premium domestic clients in the mainland of China. He was also in charge of BOC's major financing projects. He served as Deputy General Manager of the Credit Business Department of the Head Office and Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Corporate Banking Department of the Head Office at Bank of China Limited from September 1996 to July 2004. From 1995 to 1996, he worked for the Finance Department of Northern Telecom (Nortel) Head Office in Canada. He serves as Vice Chairman of Nanyang (China). Mr. GAO has been Chairman of BOC International Holdings Limited, Bank of China (UK) Limited and Bank of China (Luxembourg) S.A. since August 2015. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Culture Industrial Investment Fund Co., Ltd. He has been a Non-Executive Director at BOC Hong Kong Holdings Ltd. since May 25, 2007. Mr. Gao has been an Executive Director of Bank of China Limited since December 13, 2016. Mr. Gao has been Non Executive Director at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd since March 15, 2015. He served as a Non Executive Director of Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited since June 2007 until March 11, 2015. He serves as a Director of Bank of China Group Insurance Company Ltd., and BOC International (China) Ltd. Mr. Gao graduated from the East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai with a Master's degree in Engineering in 1986.
