Biography

  Ms. Susan Marks, also known as Sue, co-founded Cielo, Inc., in 2000 and serves as its Chairwoman & Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Marks is a Partner of Star Canyon, LLC. She serves as Treasurer of EMSystem, LLC. She is a Founder of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) industry. She has over 25 years of experience as an Entrepreneur, Investor, the Chief Executive Officer, Operator, Strategist, Leader and Business Executive. Prior to co-founding Pinstripe, she established the largest independent staffing company in Wisconsin along with an enterprise-wide recruitment process outsourcing firm. She was a Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ProStaff/HRfirst, Ms. Marks held senior executive positions at Kelly Services, Inc. She has been a Director of First Business Bank-Milwaukee WI since December 2004. She serves on the Boards of Raffel Comfort Sciences, Virtual Edge, Inc. and EMSystem, LLC. She is the recipient of the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Marquette University College of Business's Entrepreneurship Award. She has earned both the Working Woman 500 Award and Future 50 of Wisconsin Award for three consecutive years. She was named a 2008 HRO Superstar by HRO Today magazine (Review Article). She was also named to the list of HRO Superstars in 2007 and 2006. She is an annual participant in YPO's prestigious Executive Education Program at Harvard's Graduate School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Marquette University and is active in the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship.
