Biography

Mr. Callahan manages global Operations & Technology at Citi. He is the Executive Chair of the Chief Information Officer Council, which sets global standards for all technology throughout Citi, and leads the Digital Governance Office, which drives digital transformation across Citi's businesses. Mr. Callahan is also responsible for developing and implementing Citi's global information security strategy. With an extensive track record of transforming organizations through technology, Mr. Callahan sets and oversees Citi's global technology agenda. He drives the implementation of common technology platforms to deliver products and services to Citi's consumer, corporate and institutional clients in more than 160 countries around the world. He also develops and executes Citi's strategy for leveraging new and existing technologies to enable an enhanced client experience, transform Citi's cost structure and drive profitability. In addition to his technology responsibilities, Mr. Callahan oversees Citi's Shared Services organization, comprising an integrated global managed services model executed through 34 Citi Service Centers. Mr. Callahan also oversees Citi's enterprise analytics platform, which transforms raw data into actionable knowledge, creating new insights and value for clients. He also manages Citi's global real estate portfolio, generating increased productivity by consolidating Citi's footprint and optimizing the workplace environment. Prior to joining Citi in 2007, Mr. Callahan held executive positions at IBM, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, where he developed and implemented client-centric technology strategies that drove productivity, enhanced client service and improved profitability. Mr. Callahan is actively involved in several community organizations. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Manhattanville College and also serves on the board of the American Red Cross of Greater New York. He is a member of the Business Committee of Metropolitan Museum of Art and is a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association. Mr. Callahan manages global Operations & Technology at Citi.
