Dan Sayre

Biography

Dan Sayre is President of The Coca-Cola Company’s Western Europe business unit. In this role he oversees company operations in 15 countries. Sayre joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1983 as Sprite Brand Manager for Coca-Cola USA. He subsequently served as Brand Manager for Diet Coke, Executive Assistant to the company's Chief Marketing Officer and then as Group Brand Manager for the Coca-Cola trademark. Dan held a number of marketing positions throughout Latin America, including senior assignments in Argentina and Mexico and served as Region Manager for the North Andean business unit based in Lima, Peru. In December 2003, he was appointed to President of the Latin Center Division, encompassing Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, the Guyanas, Suriname and Venezuela.  He also has served as business president in Coca-Cola’s fifth largest market – Japan – and as Business Unit President for the Northwest Europe and Nordics Division (NWEN) before being named to his current role. A native of Washington, D.C., Sayre is a graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
