Biography
Mr. Benedito Pinto Ferreira Braga, Jr. serves as the Chairman of the Board of Basic Sanitation Company of the State of Sao Paulo - SABESP since January 2015. He is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Polytechnic School of USP and develops technical and scientific work in the field of planning and management of water resources with an emphasis on conflict resolution with multiple objectives. President of the World Water Council (WWC), responsible for the World Forum of Hague Water, Kyoto, Mexico and Istanbul, and president of the International Forum Committee. He has graduated in Civil Engineering from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos, Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP), Masters in Hydrology from Stanford University and from Escola Politecnica da Universidade de Sao Paulo and Ph.D. from Stanford University.
