Mr. Marcelo de Souza Scarcela Portela has been Legal Officer of Costa Pinto S.A. since 2009. Mr. de Souza Scarcela Portela is a Partner in the Brazilian law firm of Portela Advogados Associados S/C and provides legal services to Cosan Ltd., on a regular basis. He has been an Executive Legal Officer at Cosan S.A. Indústria e Comércio since 2009 and serves as its General Counsel, where he advised in corporate, litigation, contracts and advisory issues, in addition to commercial and civil law in general. He serves as General Counsel of Cosan Limited. He served as Vice President of Legal at Cosan Limited. He served at Cosan S/a Industria E Comercio in the areas of litigious, contractual and advisory, beyond in general giving assistance in the field of the Commercial law and Civil.
