Andre Dorf

Biography

Mr. Andre Dorf has been the Chief Executive Officer of CPFL Energia S.A. since July 1, 2016 and serves as its Member of the Board of Executive Officers. Mr. Dorf has been the Chief Executive Officer of Suzano Energia Renovavel Ltda. since July 29, 2010 and serves as its Member of Executive Board. Mr. Dorf served as Chief Executive Officer and Member of Board of Executives Officers at CPFL Energias Renováveis S.A. until July 7, 2016. He served as New Business Executive Officer of Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. He served as an Executive Officer of Strategy, Business Development and Investor Relations Division at Suzano Holding SA. He served as Executive Officer responsible for Business Development at Braskem Petroquímica S.A. (fiorQuattor Petroquimica SA) and served as its Chief Strategy and New Business Officer since 2002. He served as an Executive Officer of Business Development at Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. and also served as its Executive Officer of Strategy and Investor Relations and Chief Strategy & New Business Officer. He has performed as President of Suzano Energia Renovável and previously performed in Suzano Papel e Celulose, where he was Executive Officer/Executive Director of Development and New Businesses, from 2003 to 2005 and subsequently, from 2005 to 2008, Executive Director of the Paper Business Unit and from 2008 to 2010, Executive Director of Strategy, New Businesses and Investor Relations. He started his career in investment banks where he performed since 1996 in companies like Banco Patrimônio De Investimento, Chase Manhattan Bank and JP Morgan (SP and NY). Mr. Dorf served as a Senior Associate of the São Paulo branch of JPMorgan. He served as a Senior Associate of JPMorgan - New York (Latin America Corporate Finance Group and Global Paper & Packaging Group) since 2002. He has been the Chairman and Director of CPFL Energias Renováveis S.A. since August 4, 2016. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He attended the Salomon Brothers Analyst Training Program in New York in 1997 and a Finance Course at the University of California - Santa Barbara (SCSB) in 1993.
