Biography
Mr. Ramos has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and several technical and management specialization courses related to the oil and gas industry, including an MBA. During his 25-year career at Petrobras, he held several positions, including Gas and Energy Officer in Bolivia, CEO of TBG S.A., Executive Officer at GNL do Nordeste Ltda., Gas Marketing Manager and Board member at TGS S.A. and Mega S.A. in Argentina, among others. Until October 2013, he was CEO and a member of the Board of Perenco Brasil. He was also CEO of Prest Perfurações and Gas and Oil Superintendent at EPE, San Antonio Internacional and Montreal Drilling. Mr. Ramos is currently a consultant and frequently participates in congresses and seminars in Brazil and abroad. He was granted the Plínio Catanhede Award from the Brazilian Oil and Gas Institute (IBP). In 2012, he was elected a member of the first Board of Directors of the Brazilian Association of Oil Companies (ABEP), linked to the IBP.
