Salo Davi Seibel

Biography

Mr. Salo Davi Seibel serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leroy Merlin - Companhia Brasileira de Bricolagem. Mr. Seibel serves as a General Director of Companhia Ligna de Investimentos. He served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Satipel Industrial SA. He has been the Co-Chairman at Duratex S.A. since May 1, 2017 and served as its Chairman since April 30, 2009 until May 1, 2017. He served as the Chairman of The Board at Vanguarda Agro SA. He served as President of the Board of Trade and Industry Brasimet SA. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brasimet Comércio e Indústria S.A. He serves as Vice President of the Governing Board of the Brazilian Association for Planted Forests (Abraf). He serves as a Director at Tablemac S.A. He served as a Director at Vanguarda Agro SA until February 1, 2016. He is a Member of the Institute of Studies for Industrial Development (IEDI). He is a Professor at the engineering faculties at the Federal and State Universities of Rio de Janeiro, of the Institute for Post-Graduation and Administrative Research - Coppead, part of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Mauá School of Engineering. Mr. Seibel is a Metallurgical Industrial Engineer from Universidade Federal Fluminense(Rio de Janeiro) in 1967, with a Masters Degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1968 and PhD in Business Administration and Applied Economy from the University of Paris in 1973.
