Biography
He holds a degree in Agronomic Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1977), a PhD in Phytopathology from the University of Brasília (1980) and a PhD in Plant Bacteriology from the National School of Agronomy of Rennes / National Institute of Agronomic Research, France (2000). He is currently researcher A of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. He has experience in phytosanitary defense, with emphasis on plant germplasm exchange, working mainly on the following topics: plant quarantine, phytobacteriosis diagnosis and seed pathology.
