Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences - SP from the University of São Paulo - USP (1993), a degree in Agronomic Engineering from ESALQ / USP (1998), a Master's Degree in Animal Science and Pastures at ESALQ / USP (2001) and a PhD in Ecology from Agroecosystems. USP (2005). He has worked in Environmental Management in a multinational company. He was a research scientist at the Animal Science Institute of APTA - São Paulo Agribusiness Technology Agency between 2007 and 2010. He is currently a researcher at EMBRAPA Southeast Animal Husbandry in São Carlos, SP. She has experience in Animal Husbandry, with emphasis on Sustainable Animal Production Systems, working mainly in the following subjects: animal nutrition, nutritional requirements, meat quality and methane production in beef cattle. Participates in the Technical Committee of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation - MCTI for the elaboration of the National Inventory of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases. Led a working group on large ruminants from Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance Partnership (FAO LEAP). He is a member of the Management Committee of the LANDMARK Research Network of the European Union. Since January 2014, he has held the position of Deputy Head of Research and Development at Embrapa Southeast Cattle Raising. Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Agronomy Engineering at University of São Paulo State, master's degree in Animal Production at University of São Paulo State and doctor of science at Agroecosystems Ecology at University of São Paulo State. Worked as Environment Manager in multinational company. Was researcher at the Institute of Animal Science of APTA - Sao Paulo Agency for Agribusiness Technology between 2007 and 2010. He is currently a researcher at Embrapa Southeast Cattle in São Carlos, São Paulo. Has experience in Animal Science with emphasis on Sustainable Production Systems in methane emissions and mitigation strategies. Participants of the Technical Committee in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation - MCTI for the preparation of the Brazilian National Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory. Participates Co-lead the Technical Advisory Group on large ruminants of the FAO / LEAP - Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance Partnership.
