Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Agronomy (1991) and a Master's degree in Agroindustrial Science and Technology (1994) from the Federal University of Pelotas and a Ph.D. in Qualité et Sécurité des Aliments from Ecole Nationale Superieure Agronomique de Toulouse / France (2006). He is currently researcher A of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. He has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on Post-Harvest Physiology of fruits, working mainly on the following topics: fruit quality and conservation, molecular studies of fruit maturation (genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and genetic transformation), integrated production, traceability, good agricultural practices, HACCP, processing (cider and juice).
