Biography
He holds a degree in Agronomy Engineering from the State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (1984), a master's degree in Agronomy from the same University (1990) and a Ph.D. from Soil and Water Science - University of Florida (1999). graduated as doctor in Geosciences and Environment by UNESP (2007). Researcher of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation? EMBRAPA since 1990 and postgraduate professor accredited to the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences - FCA / UNESP. Was a consultant to the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture in Argentina, within PROCISUR of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture? IICA, in 1991, executive secretary of the Environmental Quality Program of the National Agricultural and Livestock Research System? SNPA, between 1993 and 1995, and Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Food and Agricultural Science? IFAS, University of Florida, 1996. Has experience in agriculture and environment, working mainly with ecological modeling and GIS in the scope of environmental risk assessment and management, focusing on soil and water, and related issues. Recognized by Relevant Service Provided to the Nation, by Crea-SP / Confea, in 2003. Received from the Association of Agronomic Engineers of the State of São Paulo? AEASP the Fernando Costa Medal, as a highlight in the research in 2007.
