Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (1970), a postgraduate degree in Plant Production from the Federal University of Viçosa (1973), a PhD in Graduate Course in Agronomy - Purdue University (1984) and a postdoctoral degree at Soil Quality in Nebraska University (1995/1996). He is currently Researcher III and Manager of the Nucleus of Technology Transfer of Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural and Livestock Research Company) Maize and Sorghum. He has experience in the area of Agronomy, with emphasis on Genesis, Morphology and Classification of Soils, working mainly in the following subjects: corn, mines general, environmental management, soil quality, sustainability indicators and technology transfer.
