Biography
Graduated in Agronomy from the School of Agrarian Sciences of Rio Verde (1994), master's degree in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) by the University of São Paulo (1999), PhD in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) by the University of São Paulo (2003) and postdoctoral degree from Texas A & M University (2006). She began her career as a researcher at the MT Foundation (1996-1998) with the cotton crop. Between 200-2008 he was Technical Adviser to the Management Board of the Fund for the Support of Cotton Culture (Facual), where he evaluated and supervised more than 200 projects in different areas. She also worked as a researcher at the Instituto Matogrossense do Algodão (IMA-MT) (2008-2009) and was responsible for the implementation of the pre-breeding and curation program of this institution's cotton germplasm bank. Between 2009-2011 she was the Regional Coordinator for Latin America at the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) where she worked on the implementation of this sustainability program in Brazil. She joined Embrapa in 2011 as a researcher in the area of ​​improvement at Embrapa Wheat. In this Unit remained until December 2016 as a breeder of the tropical wheat program. Currently, she is an advisor to Embrapa's presidency, acting mainly in the dialogue with the Ministry of Agriculture and business with external partners.
