Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1995), a master's degree in biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1998) and a PhD in Chemical Processes and Biochemistry Technology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). He is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, which is being held at the National Center for Research in Tropical Agroindustry. He has experience in the field of Biochemical Processes, working mainly in the following lines: bio-conversion of residues and agroindustrial co-products and enzymatic maceration of tropical fruit pulps. He teaches Masters and PhD students in the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and PhD in the Biotechnology Program of the Northeast Network of Biotechnology (RENORBIO).
