Biography
He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Pelotas (1975), a Masters in Rural Extension from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1981) and a PhD in Agroecology and Sustainable Development from the Instituto de Sociología y Estudios Campesinos - Universidad de Córdoba, Spain (1999). Researcher in Agroecology and sustainable development of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. He has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis in Agroecology, working mainly in the following subjects: agroecology, epistemology, family agriculture, rural development, technology transfer. He also has extensive experience in PD & I Management.
