Biography
Jose Manoel Marconcini has a degree in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1995) with emphasis on Polymeric Materials. Worked in the Biomaterials area, in the evaluation of the quality of acrylic bone cements, in a multidisciplinary team at IOT-HC-FMUSP and at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), between 1994 and 1996. He completed his master's degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, by the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2000) on the topic of immobilization of enzymes in cellulose derivatives. The PhD was carried out in Chemistry by the Federal University of São Carlos (2005), in the area of Polyolefins Blends and recycled PET. He was a Fellow of Industrial Technology Development (DTI) of the Institute of Technology for Development - LACTEC, in Curitiba - PR, (FTIR-ATR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) method (2006). Currently, he is a researcher at Embrapa Instrumentação Agropecuária - CNPDIA, working in the area of Nanotechnology with Composite Materials and New Materials. He has experience in the field of Materials Engineering, with emphasis on Polymers, working mainly in the following subjects: polymer blends, recycling, recycled polyolefins, recycled PET, cellulose, immobilized enzymes and polymer matrix nanocomposites. with Composite Materials and New Materials.
