Biography

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (1976), master's degree in Phytotechnology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1989) and PhD in Soils from the State University of Londrina (2009). Researcher of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company since 1985, working in the area of ​​technology transfer (TT) of Embrapa Soja until June / 2009, when he participated directly in the implementation and development of validation and TT activities, mainly those related to the culture of Soy. It also coordinates the activities related to the Continued Training of technical advisors in the project "Transfer of Technology in Integration of Livestock and Forest Crops", developed throughout the national territory. It defends and practices TT as a systematic and continuous activity aiming at the effective training of technical advisors who will provide technical assistance to rural producers. From July 2009, he took over the Embrapa Agrosilvipastoril Technology Transfer Headquarters, Embrapa's new Mato Grosso Unit, where he has the mission of coordinating a great process of articulation and integration with the various institutions involved in the agroforestry sector of Mato Grosso, with the development of projects focused on the continuous training of technical advisors who work in TM to improve the validation and transfer of the technologies developed by the Embrapa Units and other Research Institutions and, enabling greater agility and effectiveness in the arrival of these research indications for the rural producers of Mato Grosso. From August of 2015, he took over the Embrapa Rice and Beans Technology Transfer Headquarters, where he has the mission of coordinating a great process of articulation and integration with the various institutions aiming at improving the validation and transfer of the technologies developed by the Embrapa Units , especially those developed by Embrapa Rice and Beans
