Biography
Graduated in Biological Sciences (Licenciatura and Bachelor) from the State University of Londrina (1996), with a Masters in Genetics and Improvement in the same institution (1999) and PhD in Genetics and Improvement by the Federal University of Viçosa (2003). He was a recent doctoral fellow at CNPq at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003-2004) and a FUNDECT / CNPq Regional Scientific Development Fellow (DCR) at Embrapa Gado de Corte (2005-2006), where he received two scientific highlights awards for his work performed in the genus Stylosanthes. Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company (EMBRAPA), since 2006, she has been working at Embrapa Cattle Breeding Plant, working in Plant Biotechnology, with emphasis on molecular markers and transcriptomics of forage plants. She held the position of executive secretary of the CTI (2011-2014). Since 2014 he has been Deputy Chief of Research and Development, Chairman of the Internal Technical Committee (CTI) and member of the Local Intellectual Property Committee (CLPI) and Local Publications Committee (CLP). President of the Internal Committee on Biosafety (CIBio) Embrapa Cattle Court (2011-current). Member of the Arrangement Management Group CULTIFOR of EMBRAPA (2014-current). Member of the National Commission of Animal Husbandry of the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA); member of the Superior Council of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso do Sul (COSUP); and alternate member of the Municipal Council for Sustainable Rural Development (CMDRS). In the research, coordinates the Functional and Structural Genomic Project of Tropical Forage Species (02.14.01.020.00.00); and actively participates in eight other projects at Embrapa and other S & T development institutions.
