Biography
He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, a Master's Degree in Rural Economics from the Federal University of Viçosa and a PhD in Development, Space and Environment from the State University of Campinas. It has specialization courses in Economic Engineering (Gay Lussac Institute of Higher Education), Development of Micro Regions and Rural Settlement Area (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel), Rural Engineering (Federal University of Lavras), Environmental Management and Renewable Energy ), Rural Administration (Federal University of Lavras), Heveculture (Federal University of Pará). He was the Commercial Manager and Agricultural Engineer at the Agricultural Cooperative of Papucaia (RJ), Rural Extensionist, Local Office Chief and Regional Supervisor at Emater Rondônia. He is currently Researcher A at Embrapa and Researcher at the Institute of Economics at Unicamp. He has experiences in Technology Transfer, Family Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Economics, Ecological Economics and Systemic Modeling of Ecosystem Services for Environmental Valuation.
